Peter C. Middleton was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2000. Mr. Middleton practices in the areas of healthcare law, employment law, regulatory law, and administrative law, in addition to general litigation. Mr. Middleton assisted the Firm’s lead counsel, and successfully argued several pre-trial motions, in the successful prosecution of a trade secrets trial on behalf of one of its clients. Mr. Middleton also assisted lead counsel in the successful defense of an age and disability discrimination lawsuit. For the Firm and its clients, Mr. Middleton has handled a broad spectrum of issues in commercial litigation, employment litigation, insurance litigation, tort litigation and appellate practice.

Before joining the Firm, Mr. Middleton primarily worked in insurance matters and successfully represented clients in a variety of commercial and tort actions, obtaining favorable results in the defense of cases involving misrepresentation, bad faith, contracts, insurance coverage, and personal injury.

Mr. Middleton graduated from DePaul University College of Law (Chicago), receiving his J.D. in June of 1997. While at DePaul, Mr. Middleton concentrated his studies in healthcare law and was a staff member of the DePaul Health and Hospital Law Journal. Mr. Middleton graduated from DePaul with a Certificate in Health Law, having successfully completed the law school’s prescribed program. Previously, Mr. Middleton graduated with a B.A. from the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) in 1994, as an English major, with a field of concentration in law.
