We cordially invite you and other interested members of your
organization to join us for breakfast to discuss the difficult
issues surrounding employment terminations. We have designed the
program to address proactive steps that all employers can take to
end an employment while managing the risks and liabilities from
claims by former employees.
Topics will include compliance with personnel policies,
consideration of precedent, coordinating investigations to support
decisions, considering whether personnel records may create future
problems, choosing appropriate grounds for termination,
considering whether the employment “death penalty” fits the
employment “crime,” and other related issues. Presenters may
include Buzz Cleveland, Colleen Rea, Paul Godec, Walt Landen, and
Pete Middleton.
